Brief History of Kharian Golf Club

Kharian Golf Club is located in the North West end of Kharian cantonment. It was founded in 1962 by the then Corps Commander Lt Gen (late) Bakhitiar Rana, MC and inaugurated on 23 Nov 1962 by the then C-in-C Pakistan Army Gen (late) Muhammad Musa, HPK, HQA, MBE. Ever Since its inception, it is catering for the needs of the Gar and has helped in grooming many new players. It has a nine hole course with a set of two tees for each holes make in yellow and red colors. It has a 2.5 Km’s jogging try along its outer periphery and a well equipped gym adjacent to club bldg. It covers an area of 79.35 acres.
